Madison
Area Paralegal Association (MAPA) meets a minimum of five times
a year to provide its membership with educational and networking opportunities.
This year, educational events include five Lunch & Learns
(luncheons with guest speakers) and one Half-day
Seminar. Reservations are required to attend these events. CLE credit
is available for attendance (.1 units for Lunch & Learns, .4 units
for seminars).
Networking
opportunities include the Annual Membership Meeting,
social and volunteer events and "field trips" such
as the Dane County Courthouse tour. Student members also benefit
from educational and networking events geared toward their needs
such as the annual Student Reception held at MATC. In addition,
the Executive Committee (Officers, Committee Chairs and Appointees) meets
six
times
per year and other committees meet on an “as needed” basis.

Concert on the Square |
Come join your fellow MAPA members at the 27th Season of Concerts on the Square with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra.
Bring your family, reserve a box supper from one of the Concerts on the Square vendors and enjoy the performance on the lawn of the Capitol.
Concert begins at 7pm. Come early to socialize with the other MAPA members and enjoy treats provided by the Executive Committee.

Book’n It Run |
MAPA is a proud sponsor of the 2010 Book’n It Run, a race to promote literacy. Join your fellow MAPA members on Saturday, August 7th in a 5k or 10k run/walk. The registration fee is $20 prior to July 24th and as an incentive to participate, all members in the race will get a free MAPA t-shirt. Learn more and register here!
